Dehydrated Active Sourdough Starter

Our dehydrated sourdough starter comes from our original starter - her name is Blanche! This starter is about three years old and has been tried and tested to make sure it reactivates beautifully. Each package of starter comes with instructions on how to reactivate it quickly... in only about five days! We also have a blog post with detailed instructions.

+ Original starter was created using a mix of unbleached all purpose flour and whole wheat flour, but can be reactivated using unbleached all-purpose flour or bread flour - it's completely up to you.

+ Package contains about 1 tablespoon of crushed, dried starter - remember, a little goes a LONG way!
